I'm so, so sorry for how long it took me to make an update--three actually, plus the very wonderful icon that ~Sheamaru made for us. Not to mention she also made the icon for my personal account, so I'm in total awe/debt to her and her skills.

So we're starting to look a little more like a real club. We just need more submissions/members, of course. So send over some notes if you're interested. X33


Welcome to the MatsudaxNear club!

For those of you who love Matsuda, and love Near, and like to put them in the same breathing space as one another. Because nothing’s sexier than two men breathing the same air.

This journal entry really should’ve been here yesterday when this club was spawned in the shady computer lab of my community college, but here it is--the possibly anticipated explanation to what the fuck is going on here, why this pairing?

I’d love to answer my own hypothetical with a very simple “why the hell not?” Which quite a few shippers use to respond to cries of opposition. It’s short, sweet and rebelliously vague. But it’s not descriptive enough.

So about that pairing…

The logic in pairing Matsuda with Near lies within what a relationship really boils down to in my opinion, and that is a) the strengths and weaknesses of both people and b) how those things clash and add up when those two people come together. Matsuda and Near are different as black and white-pun intended. But I like to think their differences compensate for what the other lacks within their own respected personality, and when combined make a whole.

Well that’s already probably too much than you wanted to read. I’ll cut it short and save the rest for the movie.
